Ian Damarell

Ian is a veteran of Guernsey cricket having played for Guernsey over many years. On his County Over 50’s debut he scored a century at Grainville, Jersey.

He was the manager of the U15 Guernsey team in the tournament in Scotland in 2009 and has taken charge of different age groups at other tournaments.

He played for the island in 1978 and was capped, #71. Another product of Elizabeth College Ian was voted the Young player-of-the-year in 1977. He scored 156 runs at an average of 15.6, he made 2 stumpings and took 6 catches in his 12 appearances.

He is the current treasurer of the GCB.
