‘Tico’ is a local product of domestic cricket, mainly brought up on artificial wickets. He was nominated as the Young player-of-the-year in 1962 and the following year was awarded a cap, #35. He played 10 times for the island scoring 134 runs and taking 4 catches.

He was a Cobo man through and through and played cricket to be enjoyed. He was an ever present in the Guernsey Touring Cricket Club where he made famous and perfected his ‘flying cut’ where he was seen nearly horizontal to the ground in attempting to cut any delivery that was wide of the off stump.
