Glenn Milnes

Glenn Milnes was born on 15th Oct 1974 in Tasman, New Zealand and played 6 first-class matches, 15 one-day and 47 games in all for Central Districts in 1997-2000. He scored 445 runs in his first-class games. He played for the New Zealand Development side, Nelson in the Hawke Cup, Guernsey and Reading CC in the United Kingdom and Gouda CC in The Netherlands.

He first played for Guernsey in 2002 and was awarded his cap, #126 in that year. Although he only stayed a short time in the island he scored 36 runs and bowled 6.3-0-41-3. In 2004 he missed half the season for St Pierre and had to have treatment from an osteopath on a stress fracture of the spine after playing constantly for over 10 years. His aim was to get fit enough to play in the island match but he didn’t make it and left the island without adding further to his 2 appearances.

Glenn was included in Rob Batiste’s best XI in 2009.
